Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the architectural design and technical strategy for our .NET applications. The role will be crucial in ensuring high-quality software delivery within an Agile SAFe environment, collaborating with development teams to improve system efficiency and scalability.
You will work closely with the Network Service Provisioning Exception Management Team to oversee multiple .NET applications, including UTM, TAP, NEO, RASV3, and OPASS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET technologies, software architecture best practices, and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures for .NET applications.
- Lead architectural decisions for applications like UTM, TAP, NEO, RASV3, and OPASS, ensuring integration and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to refine technical requirements, features, and user stories.
- Drive SAFe Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews.
- Ensure system security, scalability, and maintainability through best practices in software design.
- Provide leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Guide teams in adopting modern DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployment strategies.
- Monitor emerging trends in .NET, cloud computing, and software development to enhance existing systems.
- Partner with product management teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in a solutions architecture role.
- Expert proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of SAFe Agile frameworks and best practices for software delivery.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Experience with enterprise-level applications and integration strategies.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
- Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
