Working in engineering:
Working at Nintex as an engineer means building more than just software; it’s about making a tangible impact with every line of code. Our engineers are process experts, developing the industry’s most complete process and automation platform to transform the way people work. If you’re interested, curious and want to learn and do more, the sky is the limit here. We take a solutions-oriented and collaborative approach, constantly innovating our business and products.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join the Solutions team within R&D at Nintex. Our small but mighty team is focused on creating a suite of pre-built solutions that showcase the best of the Nintex platform. It is a fun, experimental team where we push the limits of our platform, collaborate with the rest of product & engineering to improve the Nintex platform, and continuously find ways to delight our partners and customers with both pre-built solutions and solutions tooling that accelerate the solution building and customization experience. This role is hybrid in JHB.
Your contribution will be:
- Assist in architecting and implementing end-to-end solutions and solution-building toolkits; provide technical strategy direction for solution development initiatives; lead the solution development process (standups, planning ceremonies, etc)
- Collaborate with other teams in R&D to adopt new platform capabilities as they become available and inform new requirements for platform enhancements
- Assist customers and/or partners in beta/pilot tests; train internal teams on new solutions prior to launch
- Assist in mentoring a team of architects and technical specialists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation
- Contribute to establishing and enforcing best practices for solution development, ensuring high-quality outcomes and adherence to industry standards
- Conduct performance monitoring of solutions to ensure that the ones in market are scalable and that errors/issues are addressed within SLAs; troubleshoot solutions issues and escalations as they arise
To be successful, we think you need:
- 5+ years experience building robust solutions that are delivered to customers (not just proofs of concept)
- Experience building process automation solutions is a plus. Big plus if your experience includes AI-based and/or app dev solutions
- Ability to navigate a quickly evolving, ambiguous environment and add some structure to it
- Strong organization skills: Ability to take a high-level idea and break it into actionable pieces that can be worked on by the team
- Experimental, curious and customer-focused mindset. You’re happiest when your customers are delighted by the solutions you build
