Job Description:
We’re currently searching for Senior Software Technical Analyst (Finance & Treasury Systems) who will work together with the Finance & Treasury Systems team that manages a complex SOX compliant infrastructure with many inter-related components that provide the repository of financial information required to support the Source of Earnings and other general ledger financial reporting at MFC. They also support the Enterprise-wide critical cash management and treasury solutions including the banking interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team and technical escalations during shift and weekend operations, collaborating with shift leaders and the Operations Lead for resolution.
- Ensure seamless handovers and end-to-end delivery by coordinating with other shift leaders.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise on select applications, maintaining a comprehensive technical understanding of supported systems.
- Collaborate with Finance & Treasury stakeholders to identify issues and opportunities for enhancing business value through software and infrastructure improvements.
- Support and enhance Manulife’s Finance & Treasury systems, ensuring production reliability, implementing fixes, and delivering new functionality within a flexible, rotating schedule
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
- Experience: At least 3+ years of application management and preferably with stakeholder management experience.
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City), on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite), on a shifting schedule (Day/Mid).
- At least 5+ years of experience with at least 3 of the following:
- Batch scheduling tools (CAWLA)
- Unix and Unix scripting
- Relational Database (SQL/Oracle)
- Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Lake
- Business Intelligence Software (Power BI)
- Oracle Hyperion Essbase
- JAVA
- Python
