Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer who has experience in both manual and automation testing, coupled with a good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Most importantly, someone who is excited about identifying bugs and errors. Does that sound like you? Then you may be the missing piece our team is looking for.

The Job:

• Design and develop automation scripts and ensure scripts are executable on Jenkins.
• Contribute and work with QA Engineers to maintain and update existing test scripts.
• Define and improve testing practices, tools, and processes with the goal of verifying new features and preventing regressions.
• Monitor and ensure each change achieves its business KPI on production.
• Mentor quality assurance junior team members, including conducting training sessions, test reviews, and other methods necessary to help them advance their knowledge in quality assurance.
• Report issues and risks discovered to your Superior / Quality Assurance lead in a clear manner so that risks are mitigated.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Software Engineering, or a relevant major.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a quality assurance position.
• Proven hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience in SQL, including the ability to design and manipulate test data and validate stored testing procedures.
• Possesses a good understanding of the testing life cycle and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to the team's schedules and goals.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
