POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Signal Processing & Algorithms Engineer will focus on developing and implementing reliable production algorithms designed to operate on our edge devices. These algorithms will collect and process data about driver behavior, identify driving anomalies, and generate safety and advisory alerts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Design, develop, and implement efficient and reliable signal processing algorithms for onboard driver and roadway monitoring devices.
- Gather, process, and analyze data about driver behavior and driving anomalies.
- Develop methods for accurately identifying and reporting anomalies in driver behavior and driving patterns.
- Generate safety and advisory alerts based on processed data and identified anomalies.
- Test algorithms for efficiency and reliability, and make necessary modifications.
- Work closely with the software development team to integrate algorithms into larger system architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of algorithms.
- Stay informed on the latest developments and trends in signal processing and related fields.
- Document all procedures and modifications for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, and training;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

San Diego Pay Range
$135,000—$165,000 USD
