About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you are supporting the EU System Engineering team in the area of in Key Management and Provisioning. You will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems software and supportive production tools for our innovative projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions that align with our clients' needs and expectations.

You will collaborate with industrialization and production/plant departments. Also expect collaboration with other Systems Engineering Functional areas, especially Security, but also Performance and Lifecycle/OnOff by the analysis and optimization of the customer projects with focus on Key Management.

What You Will Do

  • Work actively in the “Systems Engineering Key-Management” within the Systems Engineering Team
  • Co-Design and develop software for applications and modules required for handling and storing of secure key material.
  • Optimizing code for performance and memory usage.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
  • Writing unit tests and conducting code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
  • Support and collaborate with related domains and departments like Security, IOC, Network, AME etc.

What You Need

  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ programming with focus on embedded Linux or Android systems.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of Linux application development.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Self-motivated and systematic way of working
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal

What Makes You Eligible

  • Familiarity with TEE/TrustZones
  • Familiarity with HSM/HSE
  • Experience with Cryptography.
  • Experience with RestAPI development.
  • Familiarity with Google Test for unit testing.
  • Experience with Yocto and recipe creation.
