Senior Software Engineer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop, code, configure, and test programs, systems and solutions independently with minimal supervision in order to meet defined digital product specifications; advise product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulate options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; create robust advanced analytics solutions that have a direct impact on the business; work with product owners to determine the best solution; help design and build scalable software solutions to implement and integrate new technologies; build and implement scalable cloud based applications that deliver digital solutions resulting in immense business impact; lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards; practice DevOps ensuring a culture of testing and releasing software on continuously using automation and monitoring; review peers' technical designs, code, and tests, giving supportive feedback and technical mentoring; partner cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams to scale the service ecosystem; solve consumer facing problems at scale and evolve existing platforms.

Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include: 

  • Java 

  • AWS 

  • Node Js 

  • Rest API development 

  • Spring framework 

  • Unit and Automated testing 

  • CI/CD tools 

  • Jenkins 

  • Microservices 

  • DevOps 

  • Async Event processing 

  • System and UI Design 

  • Agile methodology 

OR Employer will accept No degree and seven (7) years of progressive experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. 

Experience must include: 

  • Java

  • Node Js

  • Jenkins 

  • Microservices
