How you will make a difference:
- Develop and deploy full stack applications and solutions using modern architectural patterns including Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and Microservices
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems that handle complex business domains
- Work with product and technical peers to understand requirements and deliver outcomes
- Lead technical design discussions and help establish architectural patterns and best practices
- Participate in design and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering
- Build in safety to move fast by working in small increments, writing testable and maintainable code, and getting continuous feedback
- Advance the values of the organization (caring, accountability, integrity, empowerment, passion, fun)
What will make you stand out:
- Software Architecture Expertise
- Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) patterns and implementation
- Extensive experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and strategic design patterns
- Proven success in building and maintaining microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of distributed systems patterns and related challenges
- Expertise in event sourcing and CQRS patterns
- Development Stack
- Solid proven professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in the JavaScript ecosystem, including:
- NextJS, TypeScript, and SST
- Modern frontend frameworks and best practices
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Experience with service mesh and container orchestration
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS:
- EventBridge for event-driven implementations
- DynamoDB, Lambda
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- API Development
- Experience in RESTful API design and implementation
- Expertise in event-driven API patterns
- Integration with third-party APIs
- Skilled in API documentation and providing developer support
- Knowledge or experience with LLM Agents, topologies, or Langchain is a plus
- Security Implementation
- Proficiency in OAuth 2.0 (Okta/Auth0)
- Strong understanding of authorization concepts (RBAC, ABAC, & ReBAC)
- Experience with fine-grained authorization and microservices security patterns
- DevOps Background
- Experience with test automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Monitoring and observability using tools like Datadog

- Proven track record of ownership and problem-solving across technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead others
