Scrum Master

What does a successful Scrum Master do at Fiserv?

As part of the Payments Optimization team supporting Merchant Services, you will drive mission-critical platforms that support our payments acquiring business. By establishing Agile principles and Scrum practices, you'll help the team in creating efficient solutions. Your work to ensure smooth processes, expedite workflows, and drive project completion will drive efficient delivery as we work towards modernization.

What you will do:

• Support Agile adoption across the team, coordinating with development teams, infrastructure teams, product owners, implementation specialists, and clients
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure effective communication and progress tracking
• Guide team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices, promoting self-organization and continuous improvement
• Provide metrics and reporting to leadership and relevant stakeholders
• Provide resolution to project issues resulting in disruption to internal or customer activities or escalate as needed
• Assist teams with problem resolution to include root cause analysis, problem resolution and recommendations to senior staff

What you will need to have:

• 6+ years of working experience driving Agile principles and Scrum practices
• 6+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or project management role
• 3+ years of experience working within an Agile development environment
• Current experience supporting Fiserv project initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
