Our Current Challenge

Ataccama Product & Engineering is at the forefront of a transformative journey, transitioning from an on-premise enterprise solution to a fully managed multi-cloud platform. We cater to Fortune 500 companies with stringent security and compliance requirements. Simultaneously, our clients expect a user-friendly, rapidly deployable collaborative data management platform that seamlessly adapts to their organizational needs.

Your Challenge:

• Design, develop and maintain a self-service, cloud-based enterprise-grade data management comprising user-friendly Web UI and robust back-end data processing system
• Collaborate on enhancing our architecture, including redesigning the current platform and streamlining the release process to ensure rapid time-to-value while maintaining high security and quality standards.
• Our clients, some of the world’s most demanding enterprises, require releases that meet rigorous security standards and enterprise-grade SLAs
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Take ownership of features and components from the design phase through the production deployment up to operational support
• Create user-friendly and robust features that empower our clients in their Data Management transformation, using technologies like Java, SQL, SpringBoot, Kubernetes
• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback in a supportive and collaborative manner to help the team improve and grow
• Play a role in technical leadership, foster collaborative and learning environment by sharing knowledge, mentoring and leading by example
• Initiate and drive improvements of both technical and organizational nature, continuously innovate and optimize how we work, always pushing yourself and the team to higher standards
• Implement unit, integration, contract, performance testing and other strategies and approaches to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Collaborate closely with team leaders, engineering and product managers, and other functional leaders
• Inspire and motivate other team members to achieve their best by building strong relationships, influencing team dynamic and culture and understanding team members preferences, technical expertise and motivations.

The Tech We Expect

• Our backend primarily employs the latest versions of Java and Spring Boot, with a warm welcome to Javascript expertise.
• Our products are deployed to both on-premise and cloud environments, we operate them both in AWS and Azure, so familiarity with these ecosystems and cloud technologies are important.
• We orchestrate our services using Kubernetes, and your comfort with Kubernetes environments, Helm charts, and related technologies is critical.
• Your experience with developing data-intensive applications, constructing complex SQL queries, and optimize their performance will be invaluable.
