We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to work on a next-generation distributed hyper-speed cloud-based analytics platform. YOU WILL
- Work on a high-performance, high-volume cloud-based data analytics platform.
- Continuously strive for performance improvements, better scalability, and code reusability.
- Understand the product in detail and be customer-focused.
- Develop end-to-end knowledge of the product.
- Work with cross-functional teams including product management, quality engineering, and support. Teams are located across multiple geographies.
- Mentor interns and junior developers and interview engineering talent.
YOU HAVE
- 5+ years of experience working on complex, distributed systems and strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design.
- 4+ years of using Java for system development of performance analysis and optimization.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Postgres.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Parquet, Spark, and HDFS.
- Experience with Cloud Storage such as GCS, ADLS, or S3 Understanding of Git and Git workflows, IDE (Eclipse or IntelliJ).
- Experience with Java unit test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with cloud enablement technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with memory-intensive applications.
- Experience high complexity complex multi-threaded applications.
- Experience with Incorta internals.
