Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer - Technical Lead, supporting the STEP Product Information Management platform & Bynder Digital Asset Management platform based in our Dublin, Ohio location with possibility for remote work.
The scope of this role is to provide technical expertise as part of the Master Data Information Systems organization, possessing a strong information technology background with experience in supporting multiple stakeholders across the organization
Responsibilities
- Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of PIM & DAM concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
- Anticipates, plans and delivers IT solutions that support enterprise strategic goals and enable increased business value
- Provides options analysis and estimates for high level business requirements
- Provides technical leadership to a team that consist of onshore/offshore resources, including Managed Service contractors
- Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
- Communicates directly with business stakeholders, IT leaders and technical teams regarding system requirements, design, development and implementation
- Self-motivated to remain relevant as it relates to advances in PIM & DAM solutions, specifically STEP PIM & Bynder DAM
- Leads systems analysis and design, including workflow and business process analysis to support complex, large scale STEP PIM & Bynder DAM implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven leadership ability
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with both onshore and offshore teams and developers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written (documentation) and oral communication skills, in a role which will be regularly business facing
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Advanced Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 8+ years of experience with 1 or more MDM/PIM solutions, preferably in the healthcare sector preferred
- Experience with STEP PIM application, preferably STEP Trailblazer v10 or higher preferred
- Experience in 1 or more DAM solutions, preferably Bynder preferred
- Experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS/GCP preferred
- Experience working with middleware technologies, preferably Apigee and/or Dell Boomi preferred
- Experience with Linux and Apache preferred
- Experience in JSE (Java 8), JavaScript, J2EE, XML development preferred
- Experience in RESTful Architecture and RESTful Web Services preferred
- Experience in integration architecture and patterns, including integration via APIs and services with a microservices architecture preferred
- Experience working with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring RestTemplate, Spring Security preferred
- Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling, specifically Product Data Modeling preferred
- Strong understanding of SAP Product Master Data preferred

Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700
