Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer QA to join our innovative team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex software systems, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies and test cases for complex software systems, including AI and machine learning models
- Lead and execute manual and automated testing processes to ensure high-quality software deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Perform thorough analysis of test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in software testing
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to development teams
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA and testing complex AI non-deterministic systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, and JavaScript
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Solid understanding of API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in using agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and AI testing approaches
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluency in English is required
