We are seeking an experienced QA & Scrum Master to oversee both manual and automated software quality assurance processes, driving efficient sprint execution. This role combines leading QA efforts, managing test cases, and ensuring timely delivery of software releases while facilitating agile methodologies and aligning stakeholders throughout the development process.


What you will do:

  • Work cooperatively with R&D, Clinical, and Project Management to ensure project success as a key member of the team, collaborating with others and solidifying relationships.
  • Quickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required.
  • Demonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Build relationships and influence among peers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Release QA Management: Lead the QA efforts for software releases, ensuring all issues, findings, and tasks are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Test Case Management: Manage a repository of test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for all software functionality.
  • Test Case Writing: Author test cases for new functionalities, ensuring high-quality, reliable validation of new features and updates.
  • Manual Verification: Perform manual testing on 5-10 physical devices (iOS/Android) and across web browsers, including Chrome and Edge.
  • QA Automation Oversight: Lead and oversee the QA automation efforts, ensuring the development and maintenance of automated test suites align with project goals and timelines.
  • PI/Sprint Alignment: Coordinate and align sprint cycles and program increment (PI) planning with key meetings and cadences to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to address issues, feature requests, and the overall product roadmap, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • JIRA Management: Oversee and manage the JIRA instance, ensuring accurate tracking of tasks, bugs, and progress across the team.
  • Scrum Master Responsibilities: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions, promoting effective teamwork and agile practices.
  • SDLC Coordination: Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to streamline the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), handling bugs and new features efficiently.

 

Software Process Skills:

  • Experience in creating estimates for code implementation time/resource for assigned tasks.
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle processes.
  • Experience using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software QA management, including automated and manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of test case creation and management for both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with mobile and web testing, including physical device validation.
  • Experience collaborating with QA automation teams and integrating them into the overall QA strategy.
  • Proficiency with JIRA or similar project management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile processes
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
