Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in Perl scripting, object-oriented Perl, and Perl modules (CPAN).
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong command-line skills, experience with shell scripting, and understanding of file systems and process management.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application frameworks (e.g., Mojolicious, Catalyst).
- Strong problem-solving skills, experience with debugging tools, and writing unit tests.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with team standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
