Senior Software Engineer - Parser Team

To accelerate our growth, we are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer-Parser Team in our APAC region with startup passion, a can-do attitude, and a desire to make an impact, while building a future for themselves and Stellar Cyber. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Parser team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software components that parse and process security data from various sources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our solutions with external systems and platforms. Your expertise in software integration, coupled with your deep understanding of cybersecurity, will be crucial in delivering robust and reliable solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components for parsing and processing security data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and ensure seamless integration with external systems.
• Implement and optimize data parsing algorithms to handle large volumes of security data efficiently.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software components and integration processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software integration and data parsing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity and software development.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on integration and data parsing.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or C++.
• Familiarity with common log formats and data structures (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV).
• Experience with regular expressions and other pattern matching techniques.
• Understanding of data normalization and transformation principles.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and integration frameworks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work with the Team based in the US
• English speaking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data processing services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and their logging services (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
• Knowledge of security log sources such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and distributed computing frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
