Scope:

Core responsibilities to include designing, coding and building(along with counterparts and Architects) the scalable SaaS platform for the customers.
Current technical environment:
-
Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth

Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture

Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD etc)

Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite
What you’ll do:
-
As a Sr Software engineer you will be designing, creating and developing software and mentoring other junior engineers.

You will own relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate with other functions within Blue Yonder
-
Drive designs to become simpler, more robust, and more efficient.
What we are looking for:
-
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4+ years of experience in Software development.
-
Solid CS fundamentals with experience across a range of disciplines, with one or more area of deep knowledge and experience
-
Strong programming experience and background in Core Java
-
Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in AWS, Azure and or GCP
-
Demonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.

Well Versed with CI-CD and Agile
-
Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies
-
Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability

Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIs

Experience with varied tools such as Spring Boot, OAuth, REST, GraphQL, Hibernate, NoSQL, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, React.

Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.

Project, Migration Experience would be a plus.

Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management.

The Anglian Water's @one Alliance is a partnership consisting of 8 companies, who each provide specialised knowledge allowing the @one Alliance to deliver complex delivery projects in the most efficient way, reducing the cost to Anglian Water’s customers.
Within @one Alliance we’ve currently embarked on a huge programme of work costing a massive £1.2 billion. We’ve entered year 5 of our current 5-year Asset Management Period (AMP7) meaning we’re full steam ahead in delivering around 50% of Anglian Water’s capital delivery projects.
