We are looking for a Full Stack technical senior Software Engineer to join (and help build!) our team! This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Vega Product Suite, a next generation cloud native public library experience. We are looking for someone who can help us build our team and design our product. This position reports to a Technical Manager—you will collaborate on design with stake holders and colleagues—while leading innovations across our ecosystem.
About You… experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- 5+ years of total development experience.
- 5+ years of React or Angular experience.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- 4+ years with Spring, Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies.
- 5+ years OO design and development methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience with Docker.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent years of relevant experience

Designing cloud based architecture and working with other engineers to implement your solution

About the Team
The Vega project is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions. Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver a unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide
Hours of Work
- Full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
- Hybrid working model 2-3 days/week on site
- Must live within a commutable distance to one of our US offices: Centennial, CO; Alexandria, VA; Philadelphia, PA or Ann Arbor, MI
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position is $104,000 - $130,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for bonus earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
