Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Swedish R&D team in Skellefteå.
Are you passionate about data security and privacy? Protegrity is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work alongside other software engineers to design, build and maintain functionality that ensures data security and privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teammates daily to enable progress toward team goals.
- Develop new functionality that will be used by other development teams in the organisation. The implementation languages used are mainly Go, java and C/C++.
- Enable deployment on our product offering on the Cloud.
- Automate execution of unit tests and integration tests.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies and processes, prioritising team progress and flow.
- Conduct constructive code reviews, driving growth in yourself and others.
- Cooperate with colleagues at other geographical locations to ensure that the functionality meets their specifications and needs.
Qualifications:
- MSc/BSc degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Go or C/C++.
- Speak and write English fluently.
- Work experience in Linux and scripting languages (shell, perl, python).
- Proficiency in implementing microservices and REST API’s.
- Container technology knowledge – docker, podman, kubernetes.
- Cloud experience from at least one major cloud vendor as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
- Experience of developing multithreaded programs for systems with multi-CPU architecture.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Strong communication skills to articulate architecture and functional concepts to diverse audiences.
- A commitment to continuous learning and a passing for emerging Cloud technologies.
Working Model
- This role is available as hybrid-based and would generally require you to attend on-site 2-3 days per week based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
