Primary Responsibilities:
- Own & maintain Kepware servers and data tags for both Krosno and Rzeszow sites
- Own and maintain Enterprise UNS for both Krosno and Rzeszow
- Cell – Machine definitions for each plant
- Kepware links to each machine at each site
- Andon definitions and management
- Manage user access to Collins Information & Analytics
- Own Utility IDs for Rzeszow and Krosno Shop Floor
- Used for Collins Information & Analytics, Digital Tier Boards, and any shop floor PowerApps
- Implement standard Landing Gear / Landing Systems / Advanced Structures / Collins digital tools at both sites including:
- Ignition apps, Kepware, Tableau dashboards, PowerApp solutions, RTLS, etc.
- Help with Poland specific adjustments including translations, and country-specific timekeeping codes
- Help integrate Poland SQL server data sources & existing reports with broader LG / LS / AdS data strategy
- Understand and communicate site requirements to DT organization
- On-site presence for digital support at Rzeszow and Krosno, speaking the same language
Additional Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software applications that bring value to both the office environment and the shop floor
- Work collaboratively with other development teams across the company on projects that can apply to multiple business units
- Consult with business process subject matter experts to ensure applications meet user requirements and exceed user expectations
- Work collaboratively with corporate developer teams to deliver robust and sustainable reporting solutions.
- Use software development best practices to ensure applications are intuitive & easy to use, while ensuring robust management of the back-end data.
- Exercise UX/UI best practices to ensure consistent and effective design of the team’s solutions
- Maintain existing data pipelines and reports that currently support operations
- Create powerful visualizations using approved digital tools to help automate business processes and provide insight to all functions to drive better, faster decision making
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience with SQL, VBA, and Python
- Skilled in the application development process including requirements gathering, wireframing, mock-up, development, testing, training, and deployment
- Expertise in technical writing to be able to produce presentations and reports
- Superior oral and written communication skills, and well organized
- Proficient language skills in both English and Polish
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing applications within PowerApps, and Web Applications
- Experience with data visualizations in SQL Server Management Studio, PowerBI, and/or Tableau
- Experience in SAP ECC or equivalent ERP systems
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Landing Gear Operations is on the cusp of a major digital transformation for our factories, and we are searching for a Senior Software Developer to help drive our projects to success. The successful candidate will work with our Digital Strategy team to develop applications and software tools for Landing Gear Operations.
Responsibilities include designing and developing web apps, PowerApps, data visualizations, ensuring data connectivity, maintaining data sources, and auditing and improving existing tools and reports to enhance the user experience. This position will have a primary focus on our Poland sites, in alignment with our broader strategy for our 7 Landing Gear sites around the world. 10% travel time may be required.
