Job Description
As a Senior Software Developer at Intelcom, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of the consumer interactions systems, primarily using C# and leveraging Azure Cloud Services. We want someone who is comfortable asking “why?”. The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with modern coding languages like C#, Python, Java, C++, etc. The ideal candidate is also someone who has an interest in working with cloud services to build highly scalable software. They are team players possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and can communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and can take initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Writing high-quality code and resolving technical issues
- Developing innovative, scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant software solutions
- Contributing to software design and aligning with long-term goals
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Promoting best practices and mentoring junior developers
- Guiding the team in technical decisions and staying updated
- Ensuring software quality and adherence to standards
- Participating in project planning, tracking progress, and managing risks
- Facilitating team communication and bridging gaps
- Engaging with clients or customers and addressing concerns
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science
- 7+ years’ software development or programming experience
- A thorough understanding of cloud architecture and data structures
- Extensive experience in either C#, Python, Java, C++, or other modern programming languages
- Experience working with Azure Cloud Services or Amazon Web Services
- Experience working with Apache Pulsar and Apache Avro or other messaging platforms
- The ability to analyze complex technical information
- Comfortability designing and implementing micro-services to solve real-world problems
- Meticulous and organized approach to work
- Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
- Detail-oriented and security-oriented work style
