You will be expected to:

Set monitoring and alerting of multiple environments
participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
oversee production platform deployments
establish cooperation rules for SRE, Development and DevOps teams
build highly available infrastructure for the SaaS platform
identify new tools and processes to improve the cloud platform and automate processes (e.g. create automation for log file management)
program applications to be optimized to work within constructs of an AWS environment
set up or manage backups and patching across the environments
serve as a technical point of contact on customer engagements
collaborate with the engineering team to define and implement solutions with external and internal cloud services features such as auto-scaling, elastic load balancing, instance right-sizing, disaster recovery strategies, and tiered storage

Our requirements:

microservice and web environment debugging and problem-solving skills
hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, automation, and monitoring of various Cloud Services
hands-on experience with DevOps/Automation tools e.g. AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Jenkins, Git
experience with Amazon Web Services (Azure and/or Google Cloud are nice to have)
experience in application virtualization – Kubernetes, Docker
experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concepts – (focus on AWS Networking)
