About The Opportunity
The Sr. Services Manager is responsible to develop and manage service group strategies to create a leadership role for the company in their respective industry. Monitors all aspects of a service lifecycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the service's competitive position. Leads internal project teams while capturing market insights to determine the service lines future direction. Represents ORBIS as the subject matter expert within the service segment of ownership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develops and executes service line strategies in support of the Market segment strategy. Champions new service solution growth projects to meet market/customer needs and manages new service line extensions.
2. Growth focus
- Solution design to add value to solve customer problems
- Commercial lead with customer presentations and interactions
- Partner with commercial sales to execute growth strategy
3. Monitor and understand competitor’s strategies and develop response to those strategies. Own strategy for RSC/IND market.
4. P&L responsibility
- Solutions pricing/margin lead
5. Oversight over customer network management market team
- Drive strategy and build on customer management services value for customer growth
6. Partner with systems manager
- Ensure system supports needs of growing business
- Provide direction on system and reporting needs to drive value
7. Manage direct reports, including performance and development.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Performance Measures and Outcomes
1. Deliver service group revenue and gross margin targets
2. Development and execution of service line strategies
3. Creation of new service development pipeline and execution of established targets
4. Management and career development of direct reports
Education/Certification
Level Required: Bachelor’s Degree Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering
Level Desired: Master’s Degree in Business
Description: Experience in lieu of education may be considered
Work Experience
Required: 5-7 years of relevant experience. Direct report management experience
Desired: Service Management experience from within heavy industrial manufacturing, metal fabrication, – automotive packaging services, food and beverage or packaging preferred; experience in other market segments, also considered.

7. Availability outside of normal business hours.
8. Ability to lead by example.
Travel Requirements
15-35% travel as needed to support assigned service lines, including customer sites, trade shows, sales calls and manufacturing plants.
