Job Purpose

As the Senior SEO & Content Strategist, you will be the architect and driving force behind our organic growth strategy. You will lead our content and SEO initiatives by establishing an editorial center of excellence that delivers expertise, authority, and trustworthiness (EEAT) through SEO-optimized content within the legal tech niche. Your mission is to develop and execute strategies that drive significant growth in traffic and conversions through high-ranking content. You'll report directly to leadership and work cross-functionally to ensure all SEO and content initiatives support our business objectives and enhance our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and own a comprehensive SEO and content strategy that drives organic traffic, enhances website performance, and boosts conversions
  • Leverage in-depth SEO audits, competitive analysis, and performance insights to set direction for initiatives
  • Define clear KPIs and measure success, continuously refining strategies to meet business objectives
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and algorithm updates, ensuring our strategy remains innovative and best-in-class

Technical SEO & Content Excellence

  • Take full responsibility for the technical health of our website, including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and overall performance optimizations
  • Own the configuration and management of key tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms
  • Establish efficient editorial processes and best practices that support content delivery strategy
  • Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with industry legal experts to enhance the authority and trustworthiness of our content

Analytics & Optimization

  • Use data-driven insights to define strategies, ensuring ongoing improvement and optimization
  • Set up robust tracking & reporting systems to provide regular, actionable insights on performance to leadership
  • Maintain a hands-on approach with analytics tools to optimize campaign performance and quickly adapt strategies as needed

Team Development

  • Hire, develop, and nurture a high-performing team of content and SEO experts who operate autonomously
  • Lead by example: set aggressive targets, drive productivity, inspire high performers, and raise the bar for those around you
  • Coach and mentor Content, Editorial, and SEO marketers to nurture and develop talent
