A day in the life
Our SEC reporting team oversees the external reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K) for Prologis, a large multi-billion dollar global Real Estate Investment Trust listed on the S&P 500. We present the financial results and operating metrics of our global business to external users such as investors, banks and our peers through our filings. As the Senior, SEC Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing external and internal financial information and key metrics for the organization. You will support the development of disclosures in accordance with the new SEC regulations, be involved in accounting research and seek to improve reporting deliverables through automation. You will be given the opportunity to interact with various internal and external teams and perform multiple assignments to meet deadlines in a complex and fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player with strong analytic and communication skills and a growth mind-set.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare external consolidated financial statements, footnotes and management’s discussion and analysis filed with the SEC (Forms 10-K and 10-Q), along with disclosure checklist
- Prepare key financial information and metrics for quarterly earnings release (8-K)
- Organize and assist with addressing comments received from senior management during the 10-K/Q filing process
- Review XBRL tagging and presentation of financial statements and footnotes within Active Disclosure
- Responsible for the quarterly preparation, reporting and analysis of global cash flow statement and related supporting schedules
- Prepare and analyze financial information and key metrics for internal reporting schedules including, but not limited to, balance sheet and income statement areas, such as other assets and liabilities
- Assist in the financial reporting controls compliance process alongside the global accounting team and internal audit
- Support the external auditors during audits and interim reviews, including the coordination of requests and the flow of information and documentation
- Draft accounting memos and perform technical research on SEC regulations
- Assist with other ad hoc reporting (e.g. ESG report, proxy statement, etc.)
- Maintain, update and improve SEC reporting deliverables utilizing PeopleSoft, Oracle EPM, nVision, SIGMA and Excel
- Promote team atmosphere and positive work environment

Building blocks for success
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of three + years of public accounting or four + years of financial reporting experience within a global multi-entity organization, public accounting experience is a plus
- Active CPA license is required
- Extensive working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Understanding of internal control requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Proficient in MS Excel, with overall working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy
- Display a strong sense of personal accountability to identify and work within required reporting timelines
- Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the functional and cultural lines of a fast-paced, multinational company
- Process improvement, organizational and project management skills
- Effective and professional communication with all levels throughout a global organization (oral and written)
- Desire to develop and grow
- PeopleSoft, Oracle EPM, SIGMA experience is a plus
Hiring Salary Range of $89,000 - $109,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
