About the team
The Grow domain sits within Xero’s Customer Platforms group and manages the Sales & Marketing Technology for Xero. Within Grow, our remit is focused on Customer Acquisition and Engagement. We work with stakeholders to enable new capabilities helping Xero scale and improve our external customers and internal users experience.
We work with systems like, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, Qualtrics, CRM Analytics and other tools to better enable Xero to achieve their strategic objectives.
What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with Revenue and Sales Operations teams to deeply understand their strategic objectives, processes, and challenges.
- Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce capabilities to design and implement innovative solutions that optimize sales workflows and drive revenue growth.
- Work at pace to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective and scalable Salesforce configurations and customizations.
- Proactively identify and resolve functional and technical issues within the Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless operations.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest Salesforce features, updates, and industry best practices, providing insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partner effectively with Product Managers and Business Analysts to ensure clear communication, alignment, and successful delivery of projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product management teams to integrate Salesforce with other critical systems and contribute to the evolution of internal tools.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower users and drive adoption of Salesforce solutions across various teams.
- Contribute your expertise to the development of Salesforce standards, documentation, and best practices within the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all things Salesforce for the Revenue, Marketing and Sales Operations stakeholders.
What you'll bring with you
- Significant experience as a Functional Consultant or similar role, specializing in Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations and optimizations within large and complex organizational structures.
- Proven success in delivering and enhancing Salesforce solutions for large-scale and intricate projects, demonstrating the ability to handle complexity and scale.
- Ability to quickly analyze intricate business processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and translate them into clear functional requirements and technical specifications for the Salesforce platform.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong configuration and customization expertise within Salesforce Sales Cloud (declarative development), including automation tools, data management, security configurations, and integrations.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications that support and systemize sales and marketing processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub, in the context of Salesforce development and configuration management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, business analysts, and project managers, to achieve common goals.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience contributing within agile project frameworks.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Agentforce Specialist or Sales Cloud Consultant are highly valued.
- A proactive commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about the latest Salesforce Sales Cloud features and relevant technology trends
