Alcon is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure comprehensive solutions.
- Uphold code quality standards and Salesforce best practices.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II).
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
