Role Overview
CarGurus is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Sales Trainer to elevate sales productivity and performance across the UK and Canada markets. Reporting to the Associate Manager, Revenue Enablement, this role is critical in driving regional success while aligning with the global best practices of CarGurus' "Center of Excellence." This position is hybrid out of our Dublin office so please only apply if you are local to the Greater Dublin Area.
The Senior Sales Trainer will lead the design, delivery, and optimization of tailored training, coaching, and enablement programs, empowering sales teams to achieve their full potential. This role requires a unique blend of analytical insight, sales expertise, and the ability to develop localized solutions that address market-specific challenges while supporting organizational objectives. What you'll do

  • Coaching: Design and deliver tailored 1:1 and group coaching sessions to address core sales skills and process improvements. Train teams on soft skills such as discovery, resilience, active listening, and communication to improve overall effectiveness.
  • International Program Design: Localize global enablement programs to meet regional needs while maintaining alignment with organizational standards.
    Skills Certification: Implement onboarding and certification programs to ramp new hires and ensure continuous skill enhancement.
    Data-Drive Impact: Analyze CRM and sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, turning insights into action. Foster team engagement through success tracking and sales competitions.
  • Collaborate: Partner with regional sales, marketing, and product teams to address skill gaps and maximize program adoption.
  • Champion organizational growth: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through clear communication, collaboration, and structured feedback.


What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, coaching, or training, with proven success in driving measurable results.
  • Experience in a quota-carrying sales role in a technology or B2B environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, operations, and methodologies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and data analysis skills; Proficiency with enablement tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, CMS, CRM) preferred.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
