Senior Sales Support Specialist
Provides operational and support services to the Cox Communities sales organization which could include: contract fulfillment, contract database and tool management, ICOMS research and audits, reporting, process support, Quick Connect, various miscellaneous projects as needed, and client communication as required.
What You'll Do
- Completes post-sales support cases as assigned
- Processes MDU invoices and tracks annual budget in a timely manner.
- Assists in post-sale expediting and follow-up by ensuring contract information is properly entered into database, local government recordings have been filed and tracking receipt of filing from local government entity.
- Works closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Project Management and Client Performance Management teams to implement and execute all post sales client fulfillment requirements and scopes of work including but not limited to contract processes, account setup, order entry, work order creation and billing/invoicing.
- Works closely billing to ensure sold, installed and billed revenues have been properly processed and recommend areas for process improvement to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Works closely with the MDU sales team to maintain the operational infrastructure by troubleshooting issues and requests which includes billing and all other miscellaneous MDU ICOMS inquiries. Identifies areas for improvement and recommends solutions.
- Assists reporting resources to audit and troubleshoot database and report details to ensure accurate and detailed information is available to the Sales team and leadership.
- Serves as point of contact for MDU myAxis pages which serve as the strategic point of communication and tools for MDU. Ensures site contains relevant, up-to-date, and accurate information.
- Coordinates data collection from internal and external personnel, entering into standard and customized report formats, and generating reports, as requested.
- Consolidates and summarizes MDU sales operation information in a comprehensive manner and distributes on regular intervals.
- Supports maintenance, management and accuracy of MDU databases and tools, such as bulk contract billing and revenue share payments through auditing, data gathering, and reporting.
- Works closely with the MDU sales team to maintain the operational infrastructure supporting MDU training, troubleshooting issues and requests, and sales-related procedures, including product/service updates and knowledge sharing of research.
- Manages/coordinates national contracts and documents from property owners and management companies which includes, but is not limited to, creating template, sending template to client, obtaining internal signatures, store documents on myAxis, track and communicate status to team and potentially enter data into appropriate database.
- Assists with monitoring compliance with all MDU processes, such as, Bulk Wi-Fi, Exclusive use of the inside wire, etc.
- Acts as the primary point of contact and responsible party for complex, stand-alone processes that require specialized support such as In & On Program, Back-in-Bulks, Bulk Billing, Complementary accounts, Corporate Housing, etc.
- Provides customer level support that helps achieve goals of reduced cycle time, minimal errors/defects/rework, maximum customer satisfaction and high levels of consistency and reliability. Improves processes such as reducing cycle time, reducing resources, reducing errors/defects/rework, improving customer satisfaction, improving consistency and reliability.
- May maintain dedicated e-mail boxes, web sites and other tools used to manage and track service requests, fulfill work orders, escalations, etc.
- Processes MDU invoices and tracks annual budget
- May serve as liaison to vendors (Broadband Communities, NAA, NMHC, HBO, etc.) and marketing on sales promotions, strategies, and trends.
- Assists in the completion and generation of special projects such as budgets, strategic plans, client projects, and/or may lead projects as assigned under close to moderate supervision.

Who You Are
Minimum
CCI employees will receive priority screening
- High school diploma and 5 or more years of experience in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales or Sales Operations, etc.) The right candidate could also have a different combination. Such as any level of degree/verification beyond high school and 3 years of experience or 7 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge for MS Office applications, particularly Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Working knowledge of Visio; Strong knowledge of ICOMS and OBIEE
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, time management, organizational, confidentiality, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Preferred
- AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.)
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
- Knowledge and experience with Sales Force.com
USD 23.17 - 34.81 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
