Sales Manager

What will your responsibilities be?
- Lead Sales and Commercial activities towards automotive customer/OEM.
- Lead customer relations to cross functional contact persons at customer, secure mutual information flow and be the voice of the customer within Adient.
- Directs the account management strategy for a key account. Responsible for the development and maintenance of account relationships and sales, and negotiations as appropriate.
- Leads all commercial activity and related customer communication for responsible programs and business.
- Serves as the voice of Adient to the customer and the voice of the customer within Adient.
- Initiates, develops, and grows customer relationships with Purchasing, Engineering, and Program Execution personnel, paving the way for efficient commercial solutions.
- Strong financial skillset and solid understanding of financial metrics. Evaluates business cases and presents to leadership for approval.
- Leads change management process from a commercial perspective and works with Program Excellence Teams for efficient commercial process during the product development process.
- Strong leader with excellent organizational and analytical skills who develops creative strategies for growth.
- Supports Sales Director for all commercial activities and related customer communication in the region.
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
- Bachelor’s degree Business or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ diverse experience in Automotive, preferably including Sales, Commercial Finance.
- History of proven success with customer relationships and proven experience with customer negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written skills (precise/purposeful/clear).
- Initial experience in Matrix organizations
- Excellence in supervisory and customer relationship roles
- Teamwork skills
- Program management understanding
- Manufacturing engineering fundamentals
- Financial skills
- Ability to proactively interpret emerging customer needs and communicate competitive positioning and product gaps to the organization
