What you'll be doing:
The Senior Program Manager for the Customer Growth Organization will be responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of strategic projects aligned with sales goals and initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT, to drive key programs aimed at optimizing sales performance, improving customer experience, and scaling business growth.
This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, project management expertise, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, driven, highly organized, and deeply passionate about Customer Success and Growth while having education/enablement delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Planning:
- Lead the design and execution of sales-focused programs and initiatives that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps, ensuring program milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Develop content and collateral including emails, newsletters, and surveys, all used to drive customer success growth, expansion, and renewals
- Demonstrate an understanding of strong sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, build proposals, navigate negotiations, and drive client relationships.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership and key stakeholders to understand business goals and ensure project alignment with sales priorities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leaders, sales teams, and other cross-functional departments, ensuring transparent communication and strong alignment.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to executive leadership on the status of programs and initiatives.
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT) to execute complex sales-related projects, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient project delivery.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders across customer success, marketing, sales, product, support, education, and professional services, to understand the business needs and define the content strategy for customer success.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the sales team's effectiveness.
Project Management:
- Oversee end-to-end project management for customer growth-focused initiatives, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness and impact of customer growth programs.
- Maintain project documentation and reporting, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts for new customer growth programs and initiatives, ensuring that the customer growth team is properly supported and equipped to adopt new processes or tools.
- Provide training and resources to growth teams to ensure successful program implementation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor trends in the customer growth organization and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
- Regularly assess program performance and proactively make recommendations for adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Consistently and accurately update content in the systems where it may be hosted as information evolves and additional needs are identified
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on customer growth organizations, sales operations, revenue operations, or similar.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs with measurable impact on business performance.
- Strong experience in project management methodologies and tools (Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Expertise in developing and managing budgets, timelines, and resources for large-scale programs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide strategic solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications (but not essential):
- Experience in sales operations or sales enablement roles.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or similar).
- Experience in change management and driving adoption of new tools and processes within a sales organization.
- Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, Percipio, Sharepoint, Smartsheets, PowerBI, or similar tools.
