The Sales Enablement team at 1Password is dedicated to empowering our revenue teams with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to acquire new customers, expand relationships, and retain our customer base. Our mission is to drive sales effectiveness and accelerate revenue growth by delivering impactful training, tools, and enablement strategies.


As a Senior Sales Enablement Manager, you will define and lead complex enablement programs tailored to the needs of our Commercial and Enterprise sales teams. You will drive initiatives that improve sales productivity, collaborating with sales leadership, marketing, product teams, and other key stakeholders. You will establish and optimize sales enablement frameworks, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement in seller performance. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional influence, and a commitment to driving business impact.


This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales Enablement 


This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.


What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales, or a related field, preferably supporting B2B SaaS sales teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing highly complex, strategic enablement programs with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of Commercial and Enterprise sales motions, sales cycles, and methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.).
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence leadership through data-backed insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), sales enablement platforms, and content creation tools (e.g., Seismic, Highspot, Articulate Rise, Adobe, or similar).
  • Experience leveraging sales intelligence tools such as Gong, Salesforce (SFDC), and other analytics platforms to assess training impact.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to measure and optimize enablement effectiveness using data-driven insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively define new processes, optimize existing programs, and mitigate project risks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with 1Password's products and services.

What you can expect:

  • Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution:
  • Define, lead, and execute enablement programs that support Commercial and Enterprise sellers in improving their sales effectiveness and achieving their targets.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive, scalable learning experiences that support sales performance across all deal stages.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and across GTM Enablement teams to ensure enablement initiatives align with business objectives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and refine enablement frameworks that enhance onboarding, ongoing skill development, and deal execution.

  • Content & Learning Development:
  • Design and manage high-impact sales training content, including onboarding programs, ongoing skill development, and product enablement.
  • Develop sales curricula that incorporate industry best practices, competitive insights, and value-based selling methodologies.
  • Ensure training resources are accessible and optimized within the Learning Management System (LMS) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Continuously improve existing processes, ensuring learning content remains relevant and impactful.

  • Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs and their impact on sales performance.
  • Collect and interpret insights from tools such as Gong, SFDC, and other analytics platforms to inform training strategies.
  • Implement a continuous feedback loop with sales teams to refine enablement programs and ensure their effectiveness.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Influence:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales leaders, providing guidance on enablement best practices and coaching methodologies.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives by working closely with Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, and Product Marketing to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Define new enablement processes and proactively enhance existing ones, ensuring smooth execution of complex initiatives.
  • Advocate for seller needs and influence broader sales strategy and planning efforts based on enablement insights.

  • Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead by example, proactively mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and create visibility around enablement initiatives through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Take initiative in having difficult but necessary conversations to drive accountability and performance.

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $126,000 USD and $170,000 USD. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.


Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $119,000 CAD and $161,000 CAD. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.


At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.


We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across EMEA, Canada and/or the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
