We are growing fast and looking to hire a Sr. Sales Development Representative (SDR).From your first day, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the team. This is a rare role in that it will have the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic sales team in a startup environment, all with the backing of an established and trusted industry provider. We are focused on growth, scrappiness, and innovation, and looking for someone who has the drive and passion to help us put it all together and crush it in market. 
We are seeking a high performing individual with strong initiative and a passionate drive for data and the programmatic space to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be motivated to play a key role in growing business with key programmatic stakeholders and helping them derive value from Proximic’s best in class audience and contextual targeting assets.

What You'll Do:

  • Report to commercial Activation lead with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets

  • Identify opportunities across our Activation business with key partners by prospecting based on usage reports to educate on our overall solution and drive more usage

  • Identify major entities that are not on current usage reports and conduct outreach to educate on overall solution and drive usage

  • Educate and reinforce Proximic’s value proposition through key messaging and providing deeper understanding of benefits to clients across all Proximic solutions and services

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps

  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook

  • Understand customer needs and requirements, staying current on all programmatic industry trends 

  • Utilize usage reports, prospecting tools, and email to generate new sales opportunities

  • Conduct cold outreach to prospects

  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, conducting daily client/prospect outreach

  • Highly organized self-starter

  • Strong communication skills via phone and email

  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

  • Strong desire to learn and grow within a fast paced sales organization

  • Ability to quickly grasp and adapt in a fast-paced technology, data-driven environment SDR experience a plus

  • Experience working with/at agencies, agency trading desks, programmatic buying teams, and/or programmatic platforms a plus.

  • Initiative to grow and retain business

  • Highly skilled in building trust by understanding client objectives and recommending best practices.

  • Sense of humor and can-do attitude are a must

  • A scrappy, roll up your sleeves mindset

  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and third parties

  • Compensation: $80.000 Base salary plus target incentive; commensurate with experience.
