We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic results-oriented Senior Sales Account Executive to join our team. We have two great TV Stations, the most watched local news in the market, top tier sports including the NBA, NHL, NFL, NCAA Basketball and Football. We also have local and national digital social platforms to help you create effective and comprehensive marketing campaigns for your clients. We will provide you with a list of billing accounts to hit the ground running. - Implements strategies to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets for existing, new, and digital business, as well as corporate initiatives.
- Develop assigned accounts while increasing their overall spend.
- Cultivating new business relationships.
- Establish credible partnerships within the local business community.
- Educate prospects and clients on various forms of advertising to best reach their targeted consumer.
- Prepare and deliver research and well thought out strategic advertising plans.
- Sell solutions across all our platforms, television, digital, social media, promotions, and creative services.
- Provide exceptional customer service & follow-up after the sale.
- Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts and competitive analysis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- Highly motivated individual with a minimum of 2x years media sales experience
- Passion for contributing to a sales team with a positive mindset and collaborative spirit.
- Strong presentation and prospecting skills
- Solid time management skills and attention to detail.
- Effective relationship building, customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft applications and other office equipment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
