About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Empower the sales team with actionable insights by leveraging market benchmarks, generating commercial insights and data-driven strategies to inform negotiations, optimize upselling opportunities, and enhance decision-making processes while driving operational excellence and strategic improvements that boost performance and enable sustainable growth with current and new merchants.

What you will do

  • Built a foundation for market-informed strategies by integrating external benchmarks.

    • Secure partnerships with at least 1 third-party data providers to obtain reliable market benchmarks within the first quarter.

    • Develop and document a repository of market insights to inform insights and pricing strategies, with updates on a quarterly basis.

  • Created a scalable framework to enhance data-driven decision-making for pricing and GMV efficiency.

    • Design a commercial insights framework and roll it out to success and sales teams within 90 days.

    • Achieve a 10% improvement in GMV efficiency across KAs by leveraging insights generated from the framework.

    • Ensure that pricing adjustments meet or exceed a predefined pricing goal in 95% of targeted accounts within six months.

  • Enhanced sales conversion and revenue optimization through data-driven pricing models.

    • Develop a pricing model for SMBs within 60 days and deploy it to at least 80% of sales representatives.

    • Increase sales activation conversion rates by 15% within three months of deploying the pricing model.

    • Demonstrate a 10% improvement in revenue optimization for SMB accounts within six months.

What we’re looking for

  • Commercial Insights / Market Benchmark Experience

    • Track record building Commercial Insights, Deal Desks and building market benchmarks.

    • Communication skills to communicate these insights to merchants and sales colleagues in a for “dummies” style.

    • Top attention to detail and to understand market opportunities to thrive.

  • Impeccable analytical and quantitative mindset

    • Track record of solving problems through quantitative analysis.

    • Top-tier attention to detail.

    • Ability to "step back" and contextualize analytical outcomes.

  • Ability to access, manipulate and automate data

    • Savvy in querying (SQL) and/or programming languages (python)

    • Experience with business intelligence tools (Databricks, Looker, Imply, PowerBI) and ability to learn quickly

  • Curious with a bias towards action

    • Significant curiosity and desire to grow

    • Track record of trying, failing and learning quickly

    • Ability to "push forward" with limited direction

    • Comfort in managing longer-term deliverables with unexpected near-term priorities

How the hiring process looks like

  • Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
    A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you, your experience, and what you're looking for. We’ll also share more about Addi, our culture, and the role.

  • Step 2: Technical Assessment (30 min)
    A session to assess your skills using SQL, one of our team members will ask you to solve different exercises using your SQL experience

  • Step 3: Initial Interview (45 min)
    A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.

  • Step 4: Case Study (3-5 Days)
    You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.

  • Step 5: Co-Founder Interview
    If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
