The Senior Revenue Cycle Training Specialist collaborates and acts as the primary contact among divisions they support - teammates, leaders, clients, and other customers. The SSRCT will be responsible for accuracy and updating areas including but not limited to Education Station on TEDI, creation/adherence of operational guides, specialized projects, and workflow opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage Education Station for appropriate and assigned divisions.
  • Communication and Marketing- collaborate with leadership to develop optimization strategies, assist in development of operational guides, and acts as the main communications point of contact in and out of the department for best practice documentation, maintenance and monitoring of department of overall website maintenance, and support of standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains training resources specific to their area, including but not limited to system specific operational guide, best practice documents, workday reference guides, payor portal guides, and other miscellaneous guides located in the ‘Workday and General Education’ of the Education Station.
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating new best practice guides for any new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and ensure the documentation maintains content that covers over 80% of the responsibilities, with a goal of 100% at all times.
  • Regular audit of established documentation to ensure the training playbook for assigned division is up to date, pulling examples of different scenarios across the various EHR systems to ensure expected outcomes are being achieved.
  • Creation, scheduling and producing/support of online/virtual training and events. These can be in the form of office hours or specific events due to changes in best practice documentation/system upgrades.

Job Experience:

  • 1 to 3 Years

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire - Company Paid

Education Level:

  • Associate’s degree or Equivalent Experience

Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to make sound decisions, as well as communication and time management skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Competence in SharePoint, Smartsheet, and project management programs.
  • Required Minimum Education - Specialty/Major: Business, Communications, or similar
  • Preferred Minimum Education: 4 year/ Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 2 years Administrative or Event/Meeting Coordination
  • Other revenue cycle, coding, compliance or business certifications, such as Certification Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), etc.
  • Revenue Cycle training experience preferred
