Job Description:
Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to create accurate revenue forecasts and budgets using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Monitor performance against forecasts, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to meet revenue goals.
- Conduct TAM/SAM/SOM analysis to support strategic planning and go-to-market initiatives.
Reporting and Metrics:
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue metrics.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports to stakeholders, including sales managers and executives, to monitor revenue performance and inform decision-making.
- Build models to analyze pipeline performance, conversion rates, and sales cycle efficiency.
Analytics and Insights:
- Collect and analyze data from CRM systems and other sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue optimization.
- Conduct advanced data analysis, including data cleansing, mining, and modeling, to generate actionable insights.
- Support sales and marketing teams by analyzing campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifecycle metrics.
Customer and Market Analysis:
- Perform customer segmentation and analyze customer lifetime value (CLTV), churn rates, and retention drivers.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through customer behavior insights.
- Conduct market research to understand competitive dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends that impact revenue strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and product management to align on revenue strategies and priorities.
- Present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices for leveraging data to drive growth and efficiency.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in revenue operations, financial planning, or data analytics.
- Proven track record of delivering insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong expertise in Excel, SQL, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with forecasting models and market analysis frameworks like TAM/SAM/SOM.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present complex data clearly.
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
