Job Description Summary
The Revenue Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Novartis NOCC R2R team by ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to Novartis divisions. This role involves maintaining robust processes, comprehensive documentation, and compliance with relevant standards, while also driving continuous improvement projects to optimize end-to-end processes across Novartis divisions.
The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, diligent, detail oriented and has a strong background in finance and accounting. Responsibilities include managing Revenue and Revenue Deductions, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing operational efficiency.
Job Description
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Implement and uphold robust safeguards and controls over the revenue process in alignment with the Financial Controls Framework.

Review and reconcile revenue deduction accruals and related accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Analyze and understand various business models to apply the correct accounting policies for revenue transactions.

Lead and participate in IT projects aimed at streamlining revenue transactions in SAP, improving efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with stakeholders to continually analyze requirements and gain a deep understanding of revenue transactions.

Conduct month-end and quarterly balance sheet review calls with the CFO and Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) Heads, focusing on revenue accruals and Gross-to-Net (G2N) movements

Serve as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to revenue within your assigned scope of responsibilities
What you’ll bring to the role:
• University level degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance related fields
• Fluent in English both written and spoken, excellent communication skills
• Some years of relevant experience, with good functional exposure to Finance and Accounting organizations
• Strong Stakeholder management skills
• SAP knowledge: experience with SAP FI and BI
Desirable requirements:
• ACCA certificaiton completed or in progress
