To complement our rapid growth, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant with an active CPA, based in our Philippines office. The person in this role should be a strong communicator who is able to work effectively with peers and management alike in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has accounting, strong technical accounting experience and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically.
Location: Mandaluyong, Philippines
- Assist on sales Contract review and assessment.
- Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards.
- Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions.
- Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis.
- Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors.
- Assist with month end and quarter end close activities.
- Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts.
- Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements, including SOX related process improvements and access controls.
- Support and participate on revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects.
- Assist in various projects as needed.
- Stay current on new revenue accounting rules and help develop appropriate policies and processes.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or related field, minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance,
- CPA required, Public Accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), Senior level.
- Revenue Recognition experience including adoption of ASC 606, US GAAP/
- Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce is plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Must have software/SaaS experience.
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
