Job Description
The Senior Researcher works for a business we are very proud of: YouGov Shopper intelligence (following the acquisition of Consumer Panel Services, formerly part of the GfK group through 2023). Joining the team that works with top food manufacturers, drinks companies and leading retailers, you will help design research to solve real business problems. You will be responsible with making significant contributions to proposals and delivering actionable insights to clients.

We are looking for…
... a team player, an analytical mind and a confident communicator, keen to work in a stable team with a friendly, bunch of like-minded colleagues! You will create valuable business insights for our FMCG & Retail clients putting together YouGov Shopper panel and AdHoc methodologies to reveal the why behind the buy and thus create growth opportunities.
You will:

Translate the client's marketing objectives into research objectives.

Create the research study design and prepare the proposal, negotiate study commissioning.

Coordinate project implementation team.
-
Draft the reports, draw conclusions and create executive summary with business recommendations for clients.
-
Deliver presentations.
-
Maintain and develop an excellent relationship with our clients.
-
Inspire and share expertise withing the team.
-
Partner with team colleagues for developing initiatives of business development.

Coach, mentor and assist junior colleagues of the team.
You have:
-
University degree, Marketing or Sociology will be a plus.
-
5+ years experience as a researcher (quantitative).
-
Passion to understand our clients’ businesses.
-
Client service-oriented profile with great analytical skills.
-
Great numerical skills with an attention to details.
-
Good communication and presentation skills.
-
A dynamic and adaptive personality.
-
Excellent knowledge of MSOffice, in particular Excel and Power Point.

Excellent English – both written and spoken.
