What you'll do
As a part of Ministry Brands, we are a fast-growing, globally recognized background screening company accredited by the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) with locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tampa, Florida. We currently have an opening for a Senior Relationship Manager on our Relationship Management team. As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our relationships with clients, will be the primary point of contact for your managed accounts, and will work closely with internal teams to ensure a frictionless client experience. You will also take an active role in Onboarding by evaluating our existing process and work with leadership and business partners to redesign the process where needed.

Effectively manage a book of key client accounts through relationship building and account strategy to ensure a healthy relationship with our clients

Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, built on trust, communication, and transparency

Understand clients' business needs, goals, and challenges, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our services and add value

Resource each client with solutions tailored to their unique goals and requirements

Advocate for each client to ensure frictionless client experience by collaborating closely with our internal teams - Sales, Billing, Operations, Support, etc. – to ensure seamless delivery

Identify potential issues and risks early and develop remediation strategies to retain and grow your accounts

Conduct Account Review sessions at recurring intervals with each client partner

Achieve high renewal rates and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with our sales team

Sustain and grow lifetime value through contract renewals, product adoption, client satisfaction, and overall client health scores

Proactively collaborate with each client to develop specific short and long-term account plans that meet the needs of our partners and optimize revenue and retention opportunities

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to educate clients on relevant changes and updates

Monitor account performance and KPIs, analyze data and trends, and provide regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders

Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and improve client onboarding processes and procedures to ensure an effective transition from the sales cycle to fulfillment

Take an active role in the mentoring and development of the relationship management team by leveraging and sharing your experience and best-practices
Who you are

Requires 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or related experience

You have demonstrated success in generating revenue growth through strategic account management

You have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

A passion for and experience in the background screening industry

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues at all levels of an organization

Ability to learn and demonstrate company product solutions

Ability to learn and use internal business systems (Salesforce, Workday, ZenDesk, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly in MS Excel for account analysis and PowerPoint for creating engaging client presentations

Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Ability to handle conflict in a professional and efficient manner
