What you'll do
As a React Native Full Stack Engineer, you will be pivotal in building our new suite of mobile and web applications from the ground up. You'll be part of the team establishing our React/React Native ecosystem alongside our existing technology stack. Your responsibilities will include:
- Architect and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability across iOS and Android platforms.
- Create and maintain web applications using React, implementing responsive designs and modern frontend practices.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, including API development, database integration, and service architecture.
- Implement and maintain gRPC communication between services, ensuring efficient and reliable data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices across the entire stack.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests and integration tests, to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, quality, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile, web, and backend development, sharing knowledge with the team.
What you'll bring
- Strong experience in mobile development using React Native, including knowledge of native modules and platform-specific considerations.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript development for web applications.
- Solid experience with Node.js backend development
- Experience with gRPC implementation and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of mobile app deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API) and their implementation across platforms.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including version control (e.g., Git), code review, and continuous integration.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) is highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the entire stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
