Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Fullstack Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in React Native and C# to join our dynamic mobile development team, who will lead the development and architecture at frontend system and help to integrate and maintain backend APIs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in:
- mobile development,
- Backend for Frontend (BFF),
- Architecture for building secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile applications, ensuring the highest quality standards, and driving the technical direction of the team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver innovative and high-performing mobile solutions.
Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile applications or Native Swift/Kotlin is a desirable addition to this role
Key Responsibilities:
Leading Fullstack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain fullstack solutions using React Native on the frontend and .NET on the backend (Good to have) and provide leadership on frontend design when needed, ensuring the application meets performance and security standards.
Azure BFF (Backend for Frontend) API Development
- Implement Azure Function APIs using BFF architecture to deliver optimized and efficient APIs tailored for mobile and web interfaces
CI/CD with GitHub Action
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions automating builds, tests, and deployments for both backend services and frontend components.
Technical Leadership & Hands-On Development
Provide hands-on development in both frontend (React Native) and backend (.NET) projects while offering mentorship to junior developers and leading technical decision-making.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
Work closely with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver seamless, scalable solutions across frontend and backend.
Performance Optimization
Optimize application performance across both the backend and frontend, ensuring fast, reliable user experiences.
Security & Compliance
Ensure the development process adheres to security protocols and compliance regulations, implementing OAuth2, JWT tokens, and secure data handling methods.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in fullstack development using React Native and enforcing security policies and optimizing UI performance.
Hands-on technical leadership experience, with proven success in leading fullstack projects and mentoring junior developers.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging in a cloud environment.
Good understanding of .NET, C# (or Any backend technology) with managing APIs for frontend.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in Mobile Application Development using Cross-Platform React Native. In addition to Mobile experience it will great to have hands-on development experience in C#.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $135,000 - $180,000 CAD
