What about the role?

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Specialist in our HQ Office in Istanbul. The role reports to Head of Quality and has 3 main functions;

• to manage customer and consumer needs and expectations
• to ensure compliance with applicable legal and Diageo requirements and FSSC 22000 and ISO9001: 2015 standards
• to ensure continuous improvement of quality and food safety management systems and to follow the actions taken, and planning/coordinating external audits.

Role Responsibilities

What you will be doing?

The main responsibilities are;

• Management of Consumer and Customer Complaint process, ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders, periodically reporting and communicating to relevant parties
• Coordination of Customer Satisfaction Surveys in each year and analyzing survey results and track the actions
• Responsible of Quality & Food Safety Management System Establishment, management and maintenance of Q&FS management systems in accordance with ISO 9001-FSSC 22000 and Mey Diageo requirements and Diageo Global Standards
• Ensuring that the organization is compliant with applicable laws and regulation
• Management of Nonconformity and corrective action process and analyzing and reporting of QFSMS nonconformities
• Management of QDMS software in all company, responsible of documented information required for the Q&FS management system
• Providing the necessary support for the fulfillment of ISO 9001: 2015 and FSSC 22000 requirements in all company
• Conducting internal and Diageo IA audits to ensure that policies are being implemented correctly across departments
• Conducting internal audits to ensure that policies are being implemented correctly across departments
• Responsible of recall and withdrawal process communication in Turkey market and planning and reporting necessary actions
• To make quality and food safety visits and audits to distributors and share audit reports.
• Good organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with follow-through and ability to meet defined deadlines

Experience / skills required

What we are looking for

• BS degree in Food or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in FMCG sector in Quality Management System
• Lead Auditor of ISO:9001:2015 and FSSC 22000
• Acknowledge of Production/ Plants dynamics in FMCG sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish
• Excellent skills in MS Office applications
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Creative and effective presentation skills
• High resilience, agility and teamwork
• Driving Licence (B)

Key Stakeholders:

Plants and HQ Quality teams, all Mey Diageo plants, all departments in HQ, suppliers, customer and consumer managements process external stakeholders

Location: Istanbul. This full-time role include hybrid working system. Plant and supplier visits are required.
