Primary Skill Set:
- Strong expertise in API test automation using Rest Assured.
- Proficiency in implementing test automation scenarios using Cucumber BDD.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Additional Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of mobile automation using Appium.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scenarios using Java
- Familiarity with testing RESTful web services and working with JSON and XML data formats.
- Experience in creating and executing test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts for API testing.
- Experience in working with version control systems, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for API testing using Rest Assured and Cucumber BDD.
- Create and maintain robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of test automation with the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the overall quality of the product.
- Work closely with the development and product teams to identify and report issues, as well as validate fixes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
