Job Description
As we are expanding the scope of our integrations efforts, the Conjur R&D team at CyberArk seeks an experienced Senior Quality Automation Engineer (Sr SDET ) to join our group! Conjur is CyberArk’s open-source DevOps security product, and it also forms the basis of our commercial product, Conjur Enterprise.
As a Senior Quality Automation Engineer you are expected to quickly onboard and help build and maintain the quality automation framework used by the Conjur Integrations Team. You need to be self-organized and should be self-sufficient enough to work with minimum mentoring and supervision. We are looking for someone who will understand customer scenarios and requirements to validate the best solution, as well as design and develop high quality test automation to increase regression coverage in a complex environment. As a senior member of the team, you will continuously raise the bar for QA practices and will need to be abreast with the latest technologies both in the company and industry so that you can utilize them to good effect. You will also spend time mentoring other quality team members on automation and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop and own various automation framework initiatives for the Conjur Integrations Team, contribute to a sustainable, scalable and maintainable automation roadmap to achieve maximum functional and regression coverage.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of programming techniques and principles, preferably with Open Source and Enterprise applications
- Understand customer scenarios and requirements to suggest and develop innovative technical solutions and tools which our development and QA group can use to ensure maximum Quality and CX for release signoff
- Continuously raise the bar for QA practices and need to be abreast with the latest technologies both in the company and industry and be able to utilize them to good effect.
- Help direct other development team members to help them utilize the automation framework to drive larger automation coverage
- You need to be self-organized and should be self-sufficient enough to work with minimum mentoring and supervision

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with Unix/Linux/MacOS and Bash shell scripting
- Experience using SCM tools such as GIT and CI/CD systems like Jenkins
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using RSpec, Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, Go Test or similar test frameworks
- Experience with REST API Testing, Tools and OpenAPI Specification
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile software development life cycle
- Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills, ability to collaborate effectively in team, across team and with management and other disciplines
- Strong quality advocate working cross-team to improve quality, understand customer pain points and initiating product, process or doc improvements
What sets you apart?
- Experience in DevSecOps
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps tools and frameworks
- Experience with IP networking, routing, load balancing & DNS name resolution
- Experience testing with Cloud Providers like AWS and SaaS based applications
- Understanding of PKI, Certificate security, encryption, HTTPS
- Experience doing exploratory manual testing and organizing hackathon sessions to identify issues. Experience with fuzzing tools
