The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance for APIs, SDKs, mobile, and web applications. You will be a key player in ensuring product reliability by leading manual testing efforts, debugging complex issues, and refining QA processes in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to enhance product quality and streamline releases. As a senior member, you will mentor junior QAs, contribute to hiring decisions, and drive improvements in testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on APIs, SDKs, mobile (iOS/Android), and web apps, with a focus on real-device testing for biometric capture and document validation.
- Debug and analyze issues using logs, developer tools, and test environments.
- Own and maintain test documentation, including test cases, reports, and test plans, while refining QA processes.
- Ensure high-quality releases across multiple environments and independent platform deployments.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Be available for on-site testing in the office when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years in QA, with expertise in manual testing of APIs, SDKs, mobile, and web applications.
- Strong experience in API testing and debugging techniques.
- Proficiency in analyzing logs, troubleshooting issues, and working with developer tools across different platforms.
- Experience with complex multi-environment release processes.
- Ability to independently drive QA initiatives, improve processes, and mentor team members.
- On-site availability in Belgrade for physical device testing.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, identity verification, or security testing.
- Scripting experience for automation support.
- SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based device testing.
