What is this position about?

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on building scalable and reliable solutions using Python while designing cloud-based architectures with AWS and Terraform. You'll apply strong object-oriented principles, take ownership of end-to-end changes, and collaborate across teams to drive key decisions. 

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office! 

Job Description

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, ensuring reliability and performance optimization. 

• Write and deploy high-quality, tested code to production. 

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform. 

• Apply strong architectural skills to build scalable and reliable systems. 

• Work with object-oriented principles to create maintainable and efficient software. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical decisions with business objectives. 

• Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery. 

• Utilize C# when needed for cross-functional projects. 

• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies within the team’s tech stack. 

Qualifications

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development. 

• Experience with AWS services and Terraform for cloud infrastructure management. 

• Excellent architectural skills with a focus on scalability and reliability. 

• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles. 

• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders. 

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale systems. 

• Familiarity with C# is a plus. 

• Exposure to project management concepts, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives. 

What about languages? 

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

• We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
