General Description: The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met. Project managers are expected to take the lead role in project execution by performing or delegating project specific tasks to the project team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget
- Coordinate layout and design of conveying systems with customer & outside firms
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
- Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise
- Evaluate and approve engineering drawings and design changes
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
- Prepares and submits quotes for new materials handling equipment
- Prepares and submits quotes for upgrades and replacement of existing materials handling equipment
- Develop and present equipment & change order estimates
- Use Autodesk Advance Steel / AutoCAD 3D / Inventor and Windows-based programs effectively
- Research and develop improvements to TPI products
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Cross train and participate in other job functions of the Engineering department as needed
- Other duties and projects as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil or related engineering field
- 5+ years experience engineering/design of bulk materials handling equipment or similar field
- Proficient with Autodesk & Microsoft products
