Senior Project Manager

Job Description

• Collaborate with regional (Singapore) and local commercial team during tender phase of the project and provide key insights on project and operational risks and opportunities
• Setting policies, procedures and workflows in Fugro Japan in consultation with the Asia Marine Regional Director (Project Management) and Service Line Directors
• Working closely with the designated Project Manager, Operations Manager/Superintendent and Service Line Manager/Director on projects reaching and coordinating with the client on the project plan.
• Part of the review process of all project documentation, including Project Plan, Quality Management Plan, QHSSE Plan and ERP Plan.
• Manage and supervise project teams to ensure project budgets, cost control, progress management and cost recovery are kept on track in consultation with Cost Controller and Business Controller (Japan & Singapore for joint projects).
• Working closely with regional HSSE team to supervise the project management team to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with Fugro's QHSSE management system.
• With the support of project coordinating/assistance team, supervises the deployment of project personnel.
• Supporting the relevant regional Service Lines in the coordination and negotiation of the contracts with the customer, the overseas Fugro group companies and the subcontractors.
• Supervision and training of Fugro Japan's project managers. Competency assessment of Project Managers to be carried out periodically with the support of the regional PMO and Service Lines.
